The USGA Golf Handicapping System
─────────────────────────────────
A common equalizer, fair to all concerned. It appears to be
what is needed. A set of rules that apply to all! However,
many players have never established a U.S.G.A handicap...
Well, now is the time, the price is right. ShareWare is the
best way to test software. Notice I said test.
Now I'm not going to say this is the best thing since sliced
bread, but I will tell you how it is written and how to use
this diamond in the rough.
Please keep in mind that I followed all the rules I had at
the time I wrote this program and that it IS NOT approved in
any way, shape, or form by the U.S.G.A.
The Rules
─────────
At the time I wrote this program, the rules appeared to be
as follows:
Take the lowest 10 scores out of 20, subtract the course
rating from each of the 10 lowest scores. Average what is
left and multiply by 96%.
Simple enough, this program does just that. Now what if...
the 96% is changed, write a new program. No way Jose' just
do the Initial Setup from the Main Menu. But not everybody
plays the same course, you know, the rating. No problemo,
It's all in the wrists. You should have seen it when you
did the Initial Setup.
The best part about it is that it works.
The Author
──────────
Okay, it is just ShareWare, I don't expect to make a million
dollars writing ShareWare programs. However, I do believe that
if you use this program, you should register it. For the small
fee of $35.00 you will feel so much better, PLUS I will send
you a personal gift, The Un-offical, "The Super Callaway".
